Volunteer Ministry: Using your Gifts & Talents

"Opportunities abound!"

Serving Others...a way to Grow, a way to Give Back, a way to Glorify God.

Here is a list of servant opportunities in different areas of our church. Find the area of our church below and click it to see the opportunities in that area.  If you see something that fits what God has purposed for you, get in touch with Mae Kraft, Director of Volunteers at 830-609-7729 x33 or 830-608-0971.

Christian Education

Children's Ministry

Kids' Connection is FPC's Sunday morning experience for children - where they learn to "be like Christ".  There are places for teachers, helpers, musicians and caregivers - helpful hands and loving hearts required!

Youth Ministry

Team FPC, for Jr and Sr High Youth, invites teens to connect with Jesus Christ and each other - while sparking excitement in them to grow their faith.  Team FPC needs adults to help with all youth activities - education, service, mission, fellowship - and most of all fun.

Adult Ministry

Topical and Biblical adult classes are offered on Sunday mornings.  New classes are added as we indentify new teachers to help us meet the educational needs of our adult members.

Small Group Ministry

Many small groups meet for fellowship and learning - so more host homes and group facilitators are needed.

  • Home Groups
  • Wednesday Evening Small Group Study Series
  • Women's Fellowship
  • Women's Bible Study

First Protestant Church Library

FPC's Library is primarily a self-service library with an above average selection of Christian books, tapes, magazines and videos.  Located in the Mornhinweg Center.  Library aides welcome.
